 Ads over time have contributed to stereotypes of minorities and white people have been exposed to them their whole life viewing different ethnicities based on what the media says. Advertising over time has been incorporating more interracial ads but there is still so much prejudice against people of color. This picture is an example of how black people were depicted in the South during the mid 1900s. Many of these products still exist today.
